National Retail Center Technology and Security Implementation
Starting in 2015 Bullet Communications was tasked to be part of a team to implement a multi-year, and multi-discipline project to development and implement a site wide, state of the art, technology infrastructure for an over 2 million square foot shopping mall, to meet the security and technology needs of a rapidly changing consumer marketplace. Working at night, after the closing of the hundreds of high-volume retail stores, Bullet installed a high-speed backbone consisting of over 6 miles of single mode optical fiber cable serving over 30 remote distribution points. Using these distribution points Bullet’s next task was to connect Ethernet based services for mall wide WIFI, telemetrics, music, mass notification, building management, access control and CCTV. To manage this highly complex and dynamic network, a Security Operation Center (SOC) was built and commissioned, and the local on-site staff trained by Bullet’s technical team.
